This is a great type of area for viewing the 360 cam calibration. You need weird lines to see if the cameras are distorting at all and not stitching properly.
But does the BlueCruise actually looks at the side cams?
I would think so to identify the distance to the lane lines. This is a great type of area for viewing the 360 cam calibration. You need weird lines to see if the cameras are distorting at all and not stitching properly.

HA, guess that would make sense why you need 360 Cams even for Assist 2.0 and lane centering, and why my partners Subaru does such a horrible job with just the EyeSight dual cameras up on the windshield.I would think so to identify the distance to the lane lines.
That goes along with what I was saying about it hugs the center line when ok n cruise for me, mine does the same thing, driver's side always a bit closer.I remember in one of the fender flare threads some companies or people said the flares would affect BlueCruise. I wonder if the wider tire hides something the cameras need to see?
Side note for you @Yeti . If I park perfectly between the line in a parking stall. When I get out I am about 4" off the drivers side line and like a foot or better on the passenger side line. But the cameras show I am in the center, It will be interesting to see once the calibration is done if it will center the truck with the actual painted lines.
