402A Deliveries?

I ordered 3/3, confirmed 3/9, built from 7-22 to 9-6 with a chip hold but fully released on 9-6. The truck has been sitting on ramp 59 since then. Even if they shipped it today, I’ve been told 4-5 weeks to California by rail then the dealer in Northern California. I couldn’t wait until December for a 2022.

I began checking within 100 miles of me and found 11 trucks close enough to mine. I gave my dealer a few days to try and get one with no luck. I feel bad since I’ve been talking to my sales guy almost daily since last March on my Lightning order I didn’t get, but he couldn’t score me a truck. I went to a dealer 60 miles away and bought a 402a in the same color with one different option from what I ordered. I’m very happy with it. I honestly was open to swapping brands like the guy with the AT4 if I could score a ZR2.

It’s got the plain black side fender flare pieces.

Made it to the dealership from the Spokane Rail Yard!!!!!!!!!!!

Pick up Saturday at this point. The side emblems are black. I'm making sure this' in my contract to get the real ones when they become available.

Mine has the temp badges too.
My salesman said with the color it doesn't look horrible. They off-loaded a King Ranch and he said that cinnamon color looks bad with those black place holders.

Nice Tremor. I got plain black side emblems as well but I bought ones from Amazon for $50. The plain black ones are not vented and theres an actual vent behind that. So it's up to you on which one you buy just make sure they're vented. The dealership couldn't get me the original badges so instead I got drop in bed box liner and inner fenders liners for the rear at no extra cost. Pretty happy with that deal

I agree. They don’t look bad for a temporary fix with the AMB. I can see how they’d look pretty bad with a red though. I’m curious as to how long it’ll take them to ship to the dealers/us.

Well, if waiting for 9 months for a truck is any indication...I'll not hold my breath! lol

I like that! Very cool

Did they give you an eta on the badges?
No, but I haven't picked up the truck or went through the dog & pony show of how much they'll try to extract from me on add-ons.

Late update, but picked up the truck from Granger the other day and have been driving since. Got in Denver yesterday in time to enjoy the dusting of snow. The Atlas Blue looks much better in person, IMO. Will have 2,000 miles by the time I get home, but the truck is driving great. Have been using the manual mode on and off to vary the rpm. Hoping to improve on my 13 mpg on the drive home 😂 wife isn't impressed by that; I forgot how heavy my foot gets with turbo vehicles.

The blue cruise was worth while on the empty stretch of I80 and worked well once I got used to it. If we ever get auto lane change and a feature to ride a line when passing semis, that'd be the biggest improvement. The driver alert warning rarely went off unless i was leaning too far or lingering on the center screen too long.

All in all, the wait was worthwhile to me and the truck and Granger lived up to the hype.

Congrats on the Truck! Atlas blue is indeed awesome (i have the same). Just got my bed sprayed with linex 2 days ago. Love the truck so far.

Will Granger be mailing you the proper fender vents to replace the all black stand ins? (my local dealer agreed to do this for me)

Picking up my 2022 tomorrow. Sat in it yesterday on the way home. Frick'n cool!

Can hardly believe it after all the delays and waiting almost 9 months to the day after order. I knew it would be a while but not 9 months! Crazy times we live in. Felt like I'd never see that final bubble on the tracker filled in - "Final Prep."

Pics in the driveway tomorrow!!

I'm hoping the '23s come in with the correct fender badges. Someone on the Raptor forum posted pictures of various '23 F150s rolling down the line, and there was an Avalanche Tremor in one of the pictures with the correct badges. Hopefully that means the '23s will have them AND that '22 buyers will get them soon!
