All Terrain T/A K03 Tires

Getting 295/70R18 KO3's installed today. Neighbor has them on his Taco and had issues balancing them as well, eventually they got them balanced correctly. The discount tire i spoke to said they have had issues and if any vibrations occur just call and they will make it a priority to road force balance.

My two cents here, have had 2 raptors (18, 21) and now a tremor. Best all around tire i've used and will only use moving forward are the Falken Wildpeak AT3W and AT4Ws. I travel 10-15K miles a year, in rain, snow, and on the drive on beach. Cannot beat the Falken's and they look aggressive.

I installed a new pair of KO3s on my 2021 Bronco after punching a hole in one of the OEM tires. I never experienced any balancing issues mentioned in this thread. They were quieter on the highway and performed better off-road.

I recently purchased a 2025 Tremor, I'm not a fan of the General Grabbers. I planned on replacing them with a new set of KO3's, but after reading this thread am reluctant to purchase them.

Does anyone have any information about these QC problems with BF Goodrich. Has it been acknowledged by them and are they working on a fix?

I find that peoples opinions about tire brands are like vehicles. They like what they like and its hard to get them to consider something else.

So you’re telling me you have been happy with them in your personal experience already, but now are reluctant to do it again because of strangers on the internet?

I took my truck back to Discount Tire (DT) because the left front tire that wasn't replaced when the other three were, started giving issues like the three that were replaced. DT re-balanced the all four tires. They said that the tires were out of balance and that they should be good now. On the way home I got on the highway the ride was made worse. I'm going to have to go back to DT again.
When people tell you they have issues with these tires, I would be reluctant to buy them also. With these tires it's a hit or miss. I wish I never bought them.

I installed KO3's in August 295/70/18. I have been busy, so only have 400 miles on them. I have not had any issues at all. They have been smooth and quiet and the ride is a little stiffer than the general grabbers which is expected. I have no complaints at all with balancing or any vibrations. I suppose I got a good set and am thankful. I had my dealer install them. I will post if I have any issues going forward. I haven't taken them off road yet.

I've been to DT now four FOUR times, and they still can't get it right/balanced. Last three sets of tires (on other trucks) have been KO2s. I'm out +/- $1600, and most likely will never go back to BF Goodrich. I'll be looking at falken or nitto next. I only have +/- 10K on these, and will most likely just take the hit and scrap them.

Take a look at the new Pirelli XTM AT or the Toyo AT3.

Just looking for information to make an educated decision.

Picked up my KO3's at DT and the first couple days I did not notice anything as I wasn't on highway at all. On highway i had a shake around 70mph. went to DT and they rebalanced, 3500 miles and still smooth (as possible with the size I put on).

I finally made it back to DT and replace all four tires with the Nitto Ridge Grappler. Plus they did a front end alignment. The ride home was mush better. I did have to pay a difference in the price of the tires of $569, the asst manager got it down from $1424.00. I'm happy with it.

I just put on K03's from Discount Tire. Never used DT before but they were great. The tires did need to be force matched a couple of times, after the second time, they got all tires below 15 lbs road force and it feels great. Running 45psi up front 55psi in the rear. I tow a RZR Pro R 4 so having E rated tires helps, but yes, you lose some of the comfort of SL rated shoes.
