Anker 757 Powerhouse w/ Pro Power

Try plugging something else into the truck also- like a work light. The Anker might not be waking up the inverter or something silly like that.
I’ve tried that as well. No luck. 👎🏻
 
Have you tried non-generator mode ? (Low power) ? Just curious….
Do you just mean through the 12v cord option? If so, yes I’ve tried it and it works. However it only provides 10-15% of the power the AC cable provides if working. Which… based on how I want to use it while camping somewhat defeats the purpose.
 
This is very interesting. The only reason I wanted the ProPower was to rapid charge a SoGen When traveling. I ended up not getting the truck I ordered and did not get the PP. With this discovery, all the weird software problems and the fact you can't use it unless the truck is running makes it pretty worthless for my use case. I wonder why the EcoFlow works? Do you know anyone with another brand SoGen? I have an EcoFlow and 2 Bluetti's. Anyone with a Bluetti able to charge from the PP?
 
I think the propower turned out a lot better on the power boost with the increased version. Ours isn't as good as I expected it to be, I've had about 50/50 success rate using different types of tools and equipment on it.
 
I have had no problem charging my Ecoflow. It even fast charges.. I have also run a fridge in the DC port of the Ecoflow while charging.
Interesting my truck has a 2KW outlet and my Ecoflow River 2 won't charge via the outlet. I can only charge via the DC plug which totally sucks!
 
Just for fun I grabbed my small Bluetti. It has a 230w built in charger and I only have the stock 400w inverter. The truck should be able to charge it. But it would not and there was a clicking sound from behind the plug. The SoGen recognized it was plugged in as the UPS light light up and the power light at the plug never went out. So weird.

I only have the 400W as well and was going to get something like this for my motorcycle track days/ camping. I guess I’ll wait to try in person or wait to see what happens here 😬 🍿
 
I charged a Jackery off pro power last week while camping without issue. I have my EcoFlow River Pro 2 showing up next week and will see if it has issues charging off the truck and report back.
 
I saw an interesting youtube vid where they used a Redarc DC-DC converter (not DC-DC battery charger) to put out 36 volts DC and used the solar input which can take much more power than the DC port. It was charging at something like 400 watts. That might be the way to go. It's more efficient too instead of DC alternator to AC inverter to AC inverter to DC battery.

Great find and idea. I'm setting up two Anderson 50 plugs in the bed. One ran to the solar panels on my rack and one directly to the battery. Then I was going to use the RedArc Anderson MPPT charger to use the solar panels to charge the truck when not charging the power station. Now I could just add this and fast charge while driving. Just put Anderson ends on it, plug it in when I want to use it. Unplug and stow away when I don't. Dang, one more thread cost me more money.
 
How many watts were you able to push and what model of Ecoflow specifically do you have?
I think 490 was the max that I saw. I just tried today and it was up to 380w, so I put it in the wall and it was identical. My garage is 90 degrees right now, so that may be why it’s lower today. Says 2 hours to charge when plugged into the truck.

This device uses a synchronous rectifier to charge the battery from an alternating current network. information about the current voltage state at each moment of the sinusoid is analyzed by the processor. Due to the synchronous rectifier, a sufficiently high charging power is achieved. but at the same time there are quite stringent requirements for the quality of the supply voltage, frequency, and signal shape. Therefore, if the supply voltage does not fully meet the standards, the device may not charge. this has been tested repeatedly on a gasoline generator on different devices. in this case, the way out of the situation is to use an external power supply that can provide the necessary voltage and current. but the charging speed is usually lower.
