Another dumb Oil thread. Now that Penzoil Ultra Platinum is not available,

I have been a big supporter of the Penzoil Ultra Platinum from Natrual Gas since seeing several comparisons. Now that is not available, anybody found anything that is comparable price/performance to it that supports our GTDI motors?

Are you talking about the natural gas part not being available anymore or just supply issues? I just ordered some last night for my dailies

You can't get the same stuff made from natural gas. The regular ultra platinum is a lower grade base oil.

Gotcha yeah that ended about 6 months ago. I still will never give up PUP for my 5W30 needs.

So i purchased some Mobile 1 Full Syn Extended Performance. Well see. Probably a non issue either way.
