I first saw a 2021 limited in AMB in the showroom and said I need that color hahaI had my heat set on lead foot and was prepared to drive hours to get one until I saw the AMB at the lot!
I actually went in to order lead foot, and was told it wasn't available for '22. Still love that color, but very happy with new decision, and can't wait to take delivery..I had my heart set on lead foot and was prepared to drive hours to get one until I saw the AMB at the lot!
That's a gorgeous pic - thanks for sharing.I like it in the sun and the shadows as in this photo.
Dumb question, but what is "ceramic coat"?Fresh Ceramic Coat!
Beautiful! What bed rack is that?Loving this truck!
Think of it like a wax coat that lasts 3-5 years. It’s a hard coating that bonds to the paint, is hydrophobic, and acts as a sacrificial coating to protect the paint. Really great stuff!Dumb question, but what is "ceramic coat"?
Did you DIY or have it done?Fresh Ceramic Coat
I may have gotten ripped off…. I’m getting ready to pick up my truck tonight or tomorrrow after $4,000 worth of tint, PPF and ceramic coating. Think the ceramic coating was about $1,250.I had it done, expect to pay around $1000 or more for a quality job from a quality shop. There are quite a few guys in here that install their own and I’m sure they can point you in the right direction if you go that route. I was to chicken to do it myself! I can say my last truck still had water sheeting off it after 4 New England winters parked in the driveway.
No that sounds about right. I paid more than that but I got paint correction and a premium coating. It fluctuates with coating but that sounds in the ballpark. I kinda wish I would have gotten some PPF before the ceramic coating but it’s to late now!I may have gotten ripped off….
