Audio update.

Typical Ford.
This has been the norm for F150’s since the SYNC system, starting with SYNC 3 was first installed on the late 2015 F150’s.
 
I am having difficulty figuring out whether I have gotten this audio update; updates page in app says last update was in Sep for "Enhanced Stability." But the Messages page shows the last update a year ago, I'm pretty sure there's been updates in the last 11 months that the refreshed mobile app isn't showing. I never fully understood the disappointment with the unleashed system, and I haven't picked up on any recent change in sound, but my immediate reference is an XLT Maverick so.....
(Overall I don't mind the new UI on the Ford phone App but I miss being able to control the zone lighting on my phone.)

Yeah I think the unleashed sound gets unwarranted hate. It sounds good. Yes it could use more subwoofer for us who really like it loud but for 98% of buyers (regular people who don't even know there's truck forums on the internet) it's probably perfectly acceptable for them.
