Hey bud and all!

Well I can't remember I think I mentioned that as of I believe the 6th Ford Chat gave me a rail car number (sadly they are saying last week in October date range) I called the dealer on the 7th and he saw the same news. He didn't think it should be that long and obviously tried to be positive and hopes for this week. He said it's railed to Chicago and then trucked up here, and he figures the delay will be getting it from the rail to the truck. He knows the name of the rail yard, thought about reaching out to them....but eh..... I tried to find a way to track the rail car on the CN pages but can't seem to find it. What you hearing on your end bud? He also told me that not to worry because they accept delieveries 24/7 at the body shop of the dealer so it's not like its gotta be during business hours. So...maybe I'll get a phone call tomorrow morning that would be so awesome!! Let me know what you have heard?

For all you guys that want to track your rail shipment. Obtain your rail car number through ford chat. (That's what I did). Call the above number and follow the prompts. It's all automated. If you somehow get connected with a human rep, hang up and try again. You should be able to track your shipment and eta. Good luck all!

I apologize because I called this daily until mine arrived, but it gave me more hope!

For Granger shipments from Dearborn, you'll be convoyed to a nearby Norfolk Southern rail station (ramp 58), then take a railcar to Kansas City, then be convoyed again up to Granger.

You can get your current location from chat, or a more comprehensive history from your VVR from the dealer. I just got my railcar number from chat and used that to track via the Norfolk Southern automated system. From what I've gathered, this will stop tracking once you get to Kansas City, then you'll have to just wait or look at your VVR till you get to the dealer.

-Option 2#
-Enter Alpha (AOK=265#)
-6 digit number (xxxxxx#)
-Confirm with '1' after it reads your number

I didn't have much luck there but I am curious if there is specific numbers for specific railways?
 
I believe so, I found the info on another f150 forum through google. I think mine started with tsx?
 
Reading this (though I know it is generic) I heard, blah blah blah, we suck, blah blah blah, we suck more. 60 days in production, STFU until you provide me a build notification, otherwise seeing the email is an emotional roller coaster.

So I reached out to Ford chat today to see if I was still on schedule, and was told today I was on rail for the first time. Checked status and the truck is in Kansas City today, hopefully it gets up to Granger this week. Chat said delivery by the 13th, and that still falls in my original window I have for delivery.
 
Blend date of 8/24. Received email 10/5 that truck was built and pending shipping. Now it shows back in production. Emailed Granger to see what the real status is.

When mine was being moved from whatever holding lot to the shipping ramp, it changed from awaiting shipping to shipped. 12 hours later it went back to built awaiting shipping. Finally, later on that day it went to shipped and I got the email from Ford saying it shipped. (Currently being offloaded in Delaware.) I can’t honestly say that I’ve seen someone say that it went from built backwards to in production. I’ll cross my fingers for you!

The tracker still has a build date of 10/3 but the circle is no longer filled in. I’m thinking it’s just a glitch and it’s still pending shipping. It had already been on chip hold for weeks before they sent the “built” email.

I’m almost positive you’re pending shipping. But who can say in these crazy times. Mine was in production for about the same length of time. On hold from 8/19 to 9/25. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that it’s just a glitch. There are so many others that have waited longer and should be shipped by now, too.
