Bed Mat Opinions

I am also looking for a good bed mat when I get my Tremor, until I get my spray in liner also (y)

I am looking at the same one on the Ford Website, how is this one doing for you so far?
Great. I have the spray in liner and the Ford bed mat and i like having both. Don't regret getting the bed mat at all. Highly recommend it.

I have the factory spray in liner that is super thin and the Bed Rug mat. Did not do the tailgate piece as I heard adding anything on the tail gate causes problems. Easy to take in and out if needed. Full bed rug it the best option and I probably will change it out to the full kit. Velcro and fire are the only nemesis to the Bed Rug. Good stuff.

As in spraying the tailgate itself?

Or the bed in the gap between the bed and tailgate? First time I’ve heard of this, and leaving that gap unprotected bothers me. Looks unfinished.

People have had problems with aftermarket spray on the tailgate. Mine is a factory spray in and it was recalibrated at the factory, The factory does not do the gap and only does a border around the plastic piece on the tailgate itself. Adding weight to the tailgate make the auto close not work in some cases. The full Bed Rug piece extends out with a tailgate cover as well. My brother put one on his Gen3 Raptor and had to turn the tailgate assist off.

Same as poster above. I have factory spray in liner and added the bedrug mat in my 22' Tremor

Excellent combo !

The camera and the sensor have to be recalibrated in most instances after spraying the tailgate because they unhook it and remove it to keep from getting spray on it.

Good to hear, I've got one sitting in its box, waiting to go over my Line-X spray in once I get a tonneau. Seems easy enough to take out when doing the dirty work.

My Line-X was fine, camera did not need calibration. I assume they took the tailgate loose but say for sure. They did remove my ProPower so I had to reconnect that harness but no big deal there.

It doesn't always need it but does quiet often when you have them sprayed.

Yes, but the bed rug has to fold up in between the gap as it closes. Between that and the extra weight on the tailgate, it trips the the auto up feature to go back down. He hopes once it gets a memory in the mat it may fold up better and not trip it.

Ive had the full Bed rug on my last 4 trucks with out any problem with the Auto tailgate closing. The tailgate part( Mat) weighs almost nothing. it also folds into the bed when closing, Not a Issue

You can buy the Tailgate mat and use it on the Bulk Head fit's perfect for extra added Protection especially if you have the short bed.

Nice, but not on his Raptor. Pretty cool you have had 4 Gen14's.

Still have all them I rotate my trucks every three years. They all get the bed rugs and X4S covers When I sell the trucks the beds look brand new.

I have line-x and a tractor supply stall mat. $40 and fits perfect between the wheel wells. Saves your knees for sure climbing up there.

I went with the weather tech bed mat. No problems so far, and I like the way it goes up the sides a little bit.

My Line-X did all that for me. Have had ZERO issues, as of last night, opening and closing tailgate 15 times for a food drive with open/close operation.
