Here in Atlanta / GA and if caught, said thief would not have gotten off and nope, if the victim confronted the perp and was protecting his or her property and force was used by the victim, they would not be blamed and whatever happens to the perp, oh well.

Funny you mention that, I am personal friends with the police chief of East Point lol He went to school with my older brother and used to haul me to Taekwondo practice as a kid in his little Chevette

They didn’t which surprised me. I think they were looking for expensive stuff like laptops, phones, guns but I kept all that with me. Plus I think they didn’t expect the alarm to go off. Thankfully Ford has the motion sensor inside now. Funny was they didn’t realize the upper glove box opens because I had a +$200 Toor knife in there and they didn’t get it. The lower was opened and my papers were in the floor.

Yeah, they did not even open the tray I had in the arm rest leaving the open space unmolested below. They also did not touch the top glove box or the under rear seat storage.

They put my tray into the driver seat and it had a Leatherman Wave and a Surefire G2X in it. Didn’t take them. I honestly think they really were just looking for guns.
