Cam phaser failed under 3k

I guess Ford still has some cam phaser issues on 3.5EB bc my Tremor with 2900 miles started running rough with vibrations and check engine light on. Luckily I was only a few miles from a Ford dealership and limped in on a Friday afternoon. It took several days to diagnose but they replaced timing solenoid but that didn’t fix the issue. The problem ended up being “a fully stuck bank 2 exhaust vct cam phaser”
So after 2 weeks and a lot of brand new parts on a brand new engine it’s running for now

Thankfully I have the 10/100k extended Ford Warranty

Not a great start, but hopefully you will be good to go now well past your warranty!

Sorry to tell you but this is why I went for the Coyote v the 3.5 I had in my last two Raptors... and it takes a while to repair.

Thought they had it fixed, as well
