I read that it’s not a problem but wanted some input from the Tremor folks.
Got a new to me 23 402A and was driving in 2H on an on ramp coasting down into a turn. Out 55mph at the time and slowing down. Down hill slightly on a wet road. As I was coasting, my ass end slid out a couple times. I corrected it and said hmm. Wasn’t expecting that but put it down to the torque of the rear end not playing nice on the wet road during decel. The General grabbers on this thing aren’t the best and I had nothing in the truck bed at the time. I also noticed they set my tire pressure at 30 cold.
Since then I have raised the pressure to 35 cold and did a Auto Spring 2” leveling kit to reduce the rake and maybe some oversteer.
It was raining this morning so I decided to try out 4A slippery mode on the highway. Ran fine. Tracked fine. Got up to around 75 and slowed down before any major turns. Didn’t get any traction problems. But I’m wondering how good is it to run in that mode long term. It’s obviously coming on summer and I won’t use it all the time but when October hits, I might use it more often on the wet PNW roads. I drive 100 miles a day as a commute and don’t dilly dally so I drive at higher speeds albeit safe.
I haven’t read any wear issues anywhere and want to confirm with you guys your experience
Thanks in advance

In 4A mode the 4WD won't be active full time. Only when it detects slippage.

It won’t really cause any issues just primes the vehicle to be ready to engage the front axles at any moment so the wheel hubs are locked in and the transfer case will stage itself with near engagement to be able to apply torque up front. The only real downside is going to be fuel efficiency

4A is underrated. I use it any time it’s wet or off-road or any time extra traction is needed :). It can be used much faster than 75 but 55 or less for shifting in and out.
