Good evening everyone.
Like many here, I was keen on getting this harness to run the AUX switches neatly and easily. After following the instructions to the letter, wiring up the switches, and then running my Baja Designs LP4s to them..nothing
Located the RED wiring bundle
using AUX 2 as the example: GREEN / BROWN
Wired into AUX 2: on the Ford Harness: GREEN / BROWN into cb RED Wire
The CB Harness Ground is Wired Directly to Chassis Ground (Confirmed 12V at Stud with Multi Meter)
Using a multi meter:
With the truck ON & the AUX 2 Upfitter OFF: 14 Volts
With the truck ON & the AUX 2 Upfitter ON: 0 Volts
Guys, what am I missing here? I'm at a loss.
Same issue for AUX 3 when I tested that in case it was a one-off.
Before I gave up for the night - I attached the black multimeter probe on battery negative and the red probe touching the CB AUX 2 connector's black/negative contact pin - and saw 13.5 volts, ((Pictured)) I need to check again in daylight when my brain isn't cooked.
It looks to be pointing to reversed terminals, but I need to confirm with a continuity test tomorrow
@Cblaxx19 can you shed some light on this? To my knowledge I've followed every instruction to the letter.
