Cup Holder Ambient Lighting 2021 - Part Numbers

It does not appear that I do from what I can tell. The only ambient light source I can see in the entire truck is the one up near the sunglasses holder pointing down at the console.

Probably would be a lot more work then.
F150leds has some kits that would be less work although less “integrated”.

FYI on f150gen14 forums there's a thread for adding back in your glovebox and phone area light as well. Same guy makes a full harness. When you add up the harness and all the parts though, it's like $400-$500 and you need to take apart your entire dash to do it... little risky.

It's wild to me to not have a glove box light, but at the same time I don't want to go through the hassle or pay the money, on principle.

It just feels so strange to have such a high-end interior on this truck and no ambient anywhere. I'd like to solve this eventually. Not in any rush though. It wouldn't be my first time taking apart a dash, but I'll prob wait for someone else to explain the steps in detail before starting to collect all the pieces.

I found this thread, this guy makes harnesses for all the missing lights. Just need to order the remaining. It wad $150 for the 2 harnesses and LEDs, now I need to order the 2 lights and light ring for cup holder.

The guy responds quick by email and seems to ship them quickly. Sucks to spend a few hundred and take your dash apart but it'll bother me forever to not have the lights so I'm just going to do it.... he does a pretty decent write up.

I think one of the comments in the review section said the "blue" was similar to the normal dash lights

I’ve got that kit sitting here, ordered the blue. May install it today, haven’t walked in to the garage yet to see how cold it is though, lol.

The company responded that aqua is the closest mmatch. I ordered it, I'll post pics when it's in. Will be a few weeks though, not picking up the truck until the 17th.

Yeah I ordered from Lakeland Ford in FL and it says they were in stock.

Edit: nevermind, just checked the orderand it's on backorder

I have all the pieces except the damn cup holder rings... been on national backorder for months and still. If anyone finds any in stock please let me know. Ordered from 4 placed that have cancelled my order because out of stock.

I have the glove light, phone light, cup holder light, harnesses, f150leds trim light all waiting to be installed once I get this damn cup holder ring so I only have to take the dash apart once (which I'm not looking forward to doing at all but I want the damn lights it should have)

I have a bad feeling that since the feature was removed, there may not be anymore produced for a while. I'd imagine they have to have some produced eventually, as IIRC they have to have the parts available for 10 years by law, but that might be urban legend.

Either way, I would expect them to be on backorder till beyond 2022. Might need to be junkyard sourcing.

This. I’m hoping someone creates an stl file for 3D printing them. I could print them in transparent PLA or PETG pretty easily.

I wasnt going to join another forum lol but I made the light ring 3D printable. I dont have a 3D printer to test it but my buddy is an engineer and copied it for me. the one he printed in black was a great fit. heres a link to the STL can you print one ?
