CVF Downpipes Available

Will be here tomorrow for me. I will run this without a tune to begin with. After speaking with CVF, no cutting of the factory downpipes is required, which is nice. I do not have adequate tools or a lift available to me so currently looking for a good shop that is familiar with f150 exhausts..

Oooooo...they've got the Raptor DPs too

Been a pain in the ass honestly, driver side gasket about crumbled coming out. Can’t get the bolt threading correctly. Currently at an exhaust shop. So as problems come up so does the bill. Tried to call CVF. No instructions provided.. kind of lame

Keep me updated. I need to schedule to have it done.

Going to ford tomorrow to get new gaskets.. might as well since it’s still apart. Truck won’t be done til tomorrow. Questioning the credibility of my installer as everything was “Huge” hurdle. So I’m sure the bill will be an uncomfortable conversation.. just want it done right once.. so I’ll hold my breath..

So, you recommend grabbing a couple gaskets just in case. Good to know, thanks. I watched the install video for CVF pipes on a Raptor and it didnt seem all that bad TBH.

Edit: Dropped my truck off about an hour ago to have the DPs installed.

Im going to be right around that. currently heading to ford to grab some gaskets. I hope to have some afternoon info. for you guys.

Got the truck back, didn't have time to compare pipe size next to each other, sorry fellas. Only video I have at the moment is idle at warm. I will post more data/inputs, cold start as I have more miles. Initial it seems to breath a bit better, peddle response is better as well.

Cold Start

Warm Idle

How’s the sound when driving? Not too loud I’m hoping…

review and thoughts coming tomorrow.. work and getting these installed before the weekend crushed me..

sounds behind the truck... its a good rodeo, turbo sounds and some deeper notes. in cab, going to dinner with wife, turning it over... not much..if any at all.. Im 100 percent stock with these. @Escape Hatch he has more mods for turbo noise, so ill report in this weekend and let the stock guys know

honestly its the perfect note for those not looking for the typical ricer sound, or muffler replacement on these eco boosts...

Don’t worry got a few in the garage, big guy. Great feedback

Just for credibility sake.. 850wheel 427/2.9L Whipple..
Was just supplying the tremor guys with some initial thoughts

I’m going to wait on downpipes until I upgrade turbos. Doing spark plugs, 170 degree thermostat, and injectors first.
