Duratrac RT vs KO3

How are the grabbers on the beach sand? Looks like they hold alot..
When we get home (FL) We're definitely gonna get some beach time.
I spent the last week offroading Ocracoke and Hatteras, not avoiding rough patches at all. Had the Grabbers at 25 and I had zero issues.
Edit: some of the deep soft pits felt a bit squirrelly, but giving it a little gas reminded me the truck was in full control, whether at a 10% lean or cutting the wheels.

Thanks for the update👍
My Grabbers are still showing new on wear(tread depth) so it'll be a bit before I switch.
We'll be back home to Florida in a few weeks and some beach time is order 🏖 🍺

I just hit 6k miles on the way back to the Charlotte area, definitely plenty of tread left 😅

Let us know how the KO3s do once you have them.
Very disappointed. I've been back to the tire place three times now...Still can't get them right.

<I posted the following elsewhere here>

They've tried 3 times to get them right...somewhere between noticeable and severe vibrations from at least the passenger front, and maybe driver front. You can feel it through the floor and steering wheel shakes. I had real trouble deciding between KO2s (had them on my last three trucks several times over and never an issue/loved them) and KO3s. I figured the new ones 'must' be better. My second time back to try to fix this the salesman noted they (KO3s) were having an issue across the board...Wish I would have known that. They've been balanced & rebalanced. Road force tested. I'm having a hard time convincing myself to go BACK to the shop yet again, but for +/- $1600, not sure I can accept this for 60K miles. When I bought the truck there was one new factory (duratrac) tire on the back and three originals on the rest (30K miles)...drove smooth as butter, but were getting worn, and I drive sand/beach a LOT, so I figured might as well now rather than later.

The shop needs to warranty the defective tire. It happens unfortunately all too often with tires in general. Some just are defective.

Discount tire...They said the road force testing didn't put the tire in the defective category...I'm going to try to go back this week.

I read somewhere else they took it to their Ford dealership and ford in whatever road force testing they did got discount to acknowledge that they were defective. But it took the guy multiple sets of tires. Might try taking it somewhere else for testing and bringing results back.
