F150 Tremor

I talked to a couple of buddies who have the 3.5 and said I would be crazy to get the 5.0.
you have smart friends!!!! i do miss the sound of the 5.0 but the 3.5 in the Tremor really doesnt sound all that bad. My wife has a 2018 Escalade with the 6.2 and the 3.5 feels better with this setup.

I have talked to a lot of people who said don't sacrifice long term longevity and lower ownership costs for upfront torque.

have you owned a 3rd gen coyote? i have and there were plenty of issues that never got resolved!!! traded in with 4900 miles on oil change and was down to the end of the dipstick where it rotates...thats over 2 qts of oil. Kept on getting jerked around from my local dealer so i went somewhere else.

I was about to ask the same question. I think I’ve heard more issues with the “reliable V8” Than the all the ecos! I think it’s the V8 guys trying to justify getting the V8
1. Sounds better
2. Umm well can’t think of any, oh wait I think it’s more reliable. Yeah that sounds good.
3. Yeah and if I slap a supercharger on it will be faster than a 3.5! But there goes my reliability.
4. Umm it sounds better.

I’m playing around if you want a V8 get a V8 but the only advantage is that (yes I agree) it sounds better.

I've got a 2010 6.2L Hennessey Raptor I bought new back in 2010. My new Tremor will run circles around it as far as acceleration. I'll take my Raptor while off-roading any day over my Tremor but on the street, the Tremor is the bomb. I'd never buy a 5.0 unless I was planning a Roush or Hennessey upgrade.

I was going to order a 23 as well. A dealer by me has 4 of the Antimatter Blue Metallic Tremors. It has more options then the 23 I was going to order and with the price increase on the 23's it was only 2 grand more and has about 4 grand more of options, so I bought the 22.

Hard to argue that. But then some knucklehead would start sending links to Whipple super chargers

I drive a 2022 Titan with a 400hp V8 and a 2022 Tremor with the 3.5. Same HP but the Titan can’t touch the 3.5. Feels way more powerful. People want the v8 mostly for the sound which is crazy in my opinion.
