I'm hoping things free up soon and they get these trucks out to you guys! I went with the "poor man's" tremor with very few options. I think that sped it up a little bit.

Mines a poor man’s Tremor too. I’m thinking they are building the expensive ones first to maximize profit.

When did you get your vin#? What package did you order? I ordered same day. Nothing but crickets. Mine is 402A. Removed start stop.

Ordered a 401A on 2/8, received VIN # on 3/9 with build date of 3/28

My dealer originally told me to expect to wait 3-4 months to get the VIN and build date so I consider myself lucky that it was only 1 month. Keeping my fingers crossed for no delays

Wait what???!! You somehow jumped ahead of a bunch of us or am I missing something.

If I’ve learned one thing about this process, it’s that there seems to be absolutely no rhyme or reason to how it works. I’ve seen folks who ordered well after me get VIN’s and build dates while some of us who ordered months ago are still just waiting for a VIN. There is no standard timeline. And then there are Job 1 dealer stock Tremors showing up in dealer lots. I give up on trying to figure out when (if) I’m ever going to hear from Ford that they have some vague notion that I’ve even ordered a $70K truck from them.
I’m a patient man, but I also would like to have some idea of the timeline to expect. Unfortunately, that seems to be impossible.

Got my vin# 2/10. I ordered a 402a, removed start/stop added bedliner. I know my dealership I work at we have not gotten many F150's scheduled. It is really hit or miss. Yes we are a small dealer. I was actually surprised when mine got picked up, I was not looking for this truck until May when I first ordered.

Unknown but Ford just announced pushing back dealer allocations until May so they can catch up on all the backlogged orders. 37 suppliers failed to provide necessary parts on schedule. So I think the hope is that pushing back on that will allow Ford to catch up on all the orders.

Do you guys think dealer size or number of orders is a factor in production?

Absolutely. My personal rule #2 : “Tell me how I’m being measured, and I’ll tell you how I’m gonna act”. Ford will sell/build/ship/store any vehicle at any time in a way that will maximize Profit and not Customer Satisfaction. If that means they put my truck on Ice Mountain for 6 months because they can use the chips to build a vehicle for a dealer’s lot, they will do that.

This gives me hope I'm still on for 3/28. My timelines are pretty similar to yours. I got my VIN before you, but I ordered 2 weeks after.
