I have lurked on here for a while, it's about to time to thank you for all the information on this forum. It's awesome. I bought my new 402a with the 3.5 new in 2024. Its been a great (mostly) truck. Really enjoying it. I'll get into it more on other threads. This picture tells the story. And yes, the Airbags will be here tomorrow thanks to the folks on the Suspension thread for all the information there.

Looks like a great setup! Which cap do you have?

Thanks CMar. The cap is a RSI Smartcap. I like it tho I had to go through three sets of latches to get them to stay closed. To be fair, they redesigned them and were great about getting me the replacements. Its steel so I can use a magnetic mount for mounting things like a Starlink mini to the roof. I mount it inside upside down when I am not using it. then open the hatch and mount it on top when I need to.

One thing I did was put a seal kit around the tailgate. That helped with the dust coming in.

May I ask which tailgate seal kit you used? There seem to be a lot of them out there and they all seem to look about the same. I have a Retrax bed cover on my Tremor and it seems like a vacuum cleaner sucking dust into the bed of dusty roads.

My truck came with the Pro Access Tailgate, so it deserved a lot more attention to detail. Below is the kit I bought. If you have a standard tailgate, you have it a little easier, but I do recommend doing it.
