Ford Performance Tune Reviews

Are you saying the FP tune is a rebranded Livernois? First Ive heard of that. Either way I'd expect the FP tune to be super conservative. Would be a ridiculous look if motors started blowing with a Ford brand name tune on it.... Regardless of warranty or not.
Yes. It even says it when you load the time. Livernois is probably one of the best known tuners for being thorough and safe.

I wanna do it but then I don’t.

I planned to get an ESP towards the end of my warranty. I wonder if getting the tune before would let them say no, or if they would give it to me with caveat of no engine coverage.
It's just gonna be a dice roll. You could have a dealer that likes to bill Ford for warranty work (as well they should!) or one who is lazy and doesn't want to do work and will try to claim "the tune is what broke your motor/turbo/whatever"....

Pretty well understood that thats the "way out" for a shop - claim the tune did the damage. Then they don't gotta warranty claim the work.

I need the list of the first type in Maryland lol

Sad seeing this thread. Was talking to my bud about the 3.5 FP Tune (we both have 3.5s) and were convinced Ford warranty (and ESP) would cover Ford installed parts/tunes. But it's looking like it's going to be up to the dealer I'm no longer interested. I have terrible luck with dealers and warranties and Engine/Trans is main things I'd want to retain any extended warranties (besides maybe A/C).

If you go with the Ford Performance tuner, you should still be covered by factory warranty. If you go aftermarket lots of those companies also offer extended warranties to cover a tuned engine

Yeah, it seems like Ford ESP won't cover it though.

I will go MPT and not worried about drivertain warranty. Pay to play. If it grenades it gets modified.
