Ford Performance unleashes a 700-HP Supercharger Package for 5.0-liter V8 F150s

I would also like to know if anyone has installed this setup. Very seriously considering it...

anyone in Canada get this installed?

I have the Whipple Stage 2 installed. I did the work myself.
I’ve a watched a dozen whipple installs on the 5.0, both the f150 and the Mustang. It doesn’t seem that bad as long as you have the right tools. Just a lot of checking your work. I read through the installation guide and it was very well written and illustrated.

Maybe I’ll get to it someday, but I still enjoy my warranty.

I don’t think a SuperCharger on a Tremor is need. Long term would only buy new from Ford installed from Ford but that’s just me. I have a 3.5 2024 Tremor and it has all the power in the world to get me in trouble !!

I did the install myself it wasn’t too bad. I was missing some bolts so I had to break the install into two parts while I waited for them to come in. Stage 1R. Dyno’d 603 to the wheels. I do want to get a Livernois tune next

Doesn't VOID the warranty does it? You can get it dealer installed with a 3 year warranty

It depends. Modifications and warranty work thereof depend on the dealer and how tolerant they are. Some dealers overlook things, others won’t touch it.

If you have an authorized Ford Performance dealer install it, It will void any extended service policy you have. I think you get a 36K/3yr by default.

Well dang, I think it would have been awesome to get the Ford install and then be able to snag the granger/zeigler warranty deal for 100k+ miles

I agree. Ford knows it would be their doom though because putting that much power through an engine — mind you, is capable, and has a lot more power left on stock internals — leads to reliability issues, no matter which vehicle.

700 is a lot of hp. People just forgot that fact. Cars have problems with less.

I myself have a 100/8yr ESP and I plan to take advantage of that. Maybe once my warranty is up and I have some extra fun money I’ll install it myself.

Looks like S&B is finally going to be making an intake kit for Whipple trucks. I saw this recently and am going to for sure hop on it. I was going to retrofit the one for the Raptor R Whipple they are also going to be making but this would be much easier. Hopefully they’re the same cartoonishly large filters for both but I have a feeling the R will get that one. While the Whipple kit included a nice intake system I was not a fan of the wide open hole in the airbox above the front wheel. I’ve gotten some water and lots of dirt drawn up into the airbox already. Whipple told me without that hole the Whipple would suffocate for air which is probably true due to using a panel filter. The S&B should be a fully enclosed box and hopefully a pre-filter will be offered as well.
