Fox Snap Ring Installed today

If I get these these installed, is there any limit on front travel? I hit plenty of 4-5 trails and want to make sure i can get better approach without limiting travel.

also im being quoted 2300 for this install/parts... https://www.ridefox.com/product.php...ake=Ford&model=F-150&year=2022&position=Front

To be fair I am in Morgan Hill CA, which is stupid expensive. Labor is 1500, and 230 for alignment + parts. I've used this shop before for my LC and they did fantastic work and came in under quote.

Caslim,
You are going to pay $500-600 for the install with camber kit & alignment here in SoCal. I had the guys at LTW Motorsports on Pierce St. do mine & couldn’t be happier with the results a year later. Good Guys & Great service. Hope that helps
Hey, nomad, so you have the fox strut/shocks on the front that gives 1.5 lift over stock tremor, so total 2.5 over stock fx4? I have the choice between fox linked here in this thread and b8 5100 adjustable. Fox gives 1.5 the shop says and is better, the b8 can do 2 inch.

Your truck height looks awesome, so wondering your setup

Unless you go with the 3.0, the 2.0 snap ring seems to be the best option for the tremor from Fox.

Went with the billstien b8 5100's in the front. Set at highest ring for 1.8-1.9 inches of lift instead of the 2.5 advertised. Puts me right under 3 inch total lift. CV's look good I think.

Could you clarify your comment, "puts me right under 3 inch total lift" .

From my reading and understanding. Tremor has 1 inch lift above FX4 f150. I've changed the front end to have 2 inch lift above. I was under the impression this is a total of 3 inches. Maybe it's only 2. It's very confusing lol. reading some other posts, people were saying 1.5 inch level was 2.5 inches total lift over fx4. So that's why I was thinking 3 inches.

I just installed the Fox snap rings on the 2” setting and find the oem tremor rear shocks are working well with them. They are tuned similarly. The rear is softer but has more travel to work through so imo that ls how you’d want it. The front and rear bounce in the sync on the highway. I am pleasantly surprised.

Unless you’re towing a lot or over heating the shock, I cannot believe a bilstein digressive rear shock would be better. I would go 6112 if you’re planning to use the bilstein in the rear. Typically it is not recommended to run digressive in the rear and linear in the front. I have run it the opposite way on a taco previously

How much lift did you gain over stock?

I have a king ranch with a complete tremor front and rear suspension. I changed from a standard f150 strut so I can’t tell you the change from stock. The strut was the last piece of the puzzle as I was on a 2” spacer for the last 6 months while I figured out what to do there.
Landed 39.5” inch fender height with 33.43” tall tire.

Hi new here. I put on the Fox 2.0 coil-overs. Not really sure of the difference between the snap ring and coil overs?
Did you adjust the shock at all prior to install?

How does this look? I dont do any hard core off roading but do hit the cabin roads pretty hard
Why does that black cup at the hub have half moon cut out on bottom? All of our trucks do. My tundra wasn't like that.

I am local to LTW and I might have them do my truck in a couple years when I need new tires. Looking at the snap ring Fox too. Any notice of stiffer then stock? I love how the stock rides just dont like the insane rake and want to run a larger tire down the road.
