What's new

GREAT DEALS ON 2025 F-150s @ GRANGER MOTORS!

You are 100% correct about that! We have been seeming the Quality Assurance taking a little longer!
Zach, What does it usually mean? Was something wrong, and they fixed it? or Do they randomly pull trucks for extra inspection? Is there any way to know what they did to my truck?

Not at all! Just staffing and all of the vehicles that are waiting. I truly do not know how they decide which ones to do, but they check to make sure the vehicle is ready to begin the shipping process. Most of these checks are random as not all have gone through that process, that we have seen at least.

Curious about your timeline, it said it was going to be built the week of 11/25 but it wasn’t listed as built for another month. Any idea why that is?
The signature stuff is pretty accurate, but it could be semantics at work. After the first couple emails it was radio silence until I got curious enough to email Chip requesting any status update. His reply was where I got the VIN and the "build schedule date". Maybe that meant that was the week they would schedule a week for it to be built, not the week that it was intended to be built? 🤷‍♂️

The next thing that happened was I got an email on 01-03-25 stating that the truck had been built which wasn't false, just a bit delayed. Back to the order tracker I went, and discovered the truck was listed as having been built 12/27 and that it shipped to Granger on the third. Ford's emailing system seems a little laggy letting folks know what's up, the order tracker seems more up to date. When all else fails, Chip will fix you up.

It's there, it's ready, the details are settled and I think a friend found me a flight. I just got home and I'm tired so either tonight or tomorrow I'll try book that for the 29th and pick up on the 30th. 🎉

I’ll be there picking mine up at a similar time! 5ish month process coming to an end. Hopefully QA and other inspections did their job and nothings wrong with it lol.

Yeah it seems like a pretty common theme that their email system is a little wonky. I was surprised I got an email with my build date after reading other peoples processes. Congrats on your wait coming to an end, I think you and I basically ordered the same truck so please take some pics so I can live vicariously through you😂.

There will be pics. :D
They seem like nice folks and good sports so I'll probably get some cooperation for a corny shot or two. Need to browse some historical mid ages or renaissance art if I can find time to illustrate what I have in mind. :sneaky:
Plane ticket and room acquired, just need to see how much worse flying has gotten in the last 5 years before i pack.

I'll be picking mine up on the 29th!

Got my ‘25 Tremor! Drove 600 miles from Iowa back to Michigan nearly all hands free blue cruise. Big upgrade from a ‘18 XLT.

Bing! Bang! Boom! 💥
Granger be sellin' Tremors like rolling thunder.
I'm wheels up tomorrow and pick up Thursday.

I arrived home safely very late on Friday night after a couple long days of travel back from Granger Ford and I am extremely happy with my experience there. No game playing, no messing around, just courteous, efficient, and everything as stated in the contract.

They sent a ride to my hotel to fetch me, Shelby was efficient and patient with my brief bout of dumb when I had a question about how the line items were listed on the contract, quickly explained to my satisfaction.

Samantha was friendly and did a good job assisting me in getting my phone paired and setting up the truck in Ford Pass and hopefully I made things easy on her since this is my third Sync 4 truck in three years and I kinda had the hang of it already except for a few tiny changes.

Got muh extended warranty too while there!

These folks are the real deal and a pleasure to work with and I would gladly do so again. Who knows, with current trends in Federal regulation, who can say but that in a few model years, a DEF and DPF free Super Duty diesel could actually be a thing, and I'll want one but won't buy until I see what Granger has to offer, Likewise a 15th gen F-150 that could theoretically offer a Godzilla 7.3 or a mini-zilla as an option.

I updated my intro thread with a mini travel log and plenty of photos of the new truck.

Thanks, everyone at Granger! Zach, Chip, Shelby, Samantha. Great doing business with you. (y)
