- 26 F150 Tremor In Avalanche
Just picked up a 26 Tremor 5.0 in Avalanche. Traded my trouble free 20 GMC At4 5.3 with 68k.
Hearing about all the dfm/lifter/crank issues with GM 6.2 and 5.3's I have to say I didn't experience any of those problems in fact it was a solid truck all around.
Not being a brand loyal guy the Tremor caught my eye a couple years ago so I finally decided to make a move.
Hopefully I don't regret it. Time will tell.
First thing up is spray on bedliner and spray on rear wheel liner I was surprised the rear wheel liners didn't come with Tremor at that price point.
I had the dealer peel off the huge Tremor stickers on the bed during prep. not a big fan of stickers on my truck.
Pretty sure if my At4 got me out and back from the sketchy trails to my fishin holes and the deer woods this Tremor should have no problem especially with the Torsen front axle. Couple initial observations.
Tremor off road camera views are alot better than my At4 was, seats seem a little squishy but not too bad, seems like alot more room in the Tremor which is a good thing at 6'6" 260lbs, motor seems a bit tight but thats to be expected with 65 mi on the odo I'm sure it will loosen up in good time.
Avalanche color is ok.
Been lurkin for a little while but didn't wanna join until I was official.
Thanks for havin me.
