Hood bug deflector?

I just bought my truck last Thursday and told the dealership I wanted a bug deflector and window visors and they called me today and said they are in? Maybe they don't even know that a standard F150 won't fit (if that is what you guys are saying)? It's not something I had thought of to be honest. I just told them what I wanted and they said they'd order them and put them on for me.

Let us know if it fits. When Tremor first came out the hood was only available on the Tremor and the Tremor hood has different creases from regular F-150 FX4 etc. I was a guuinea pig and have a post on here somewhere from back in March. Since the blackout package was introduced and available to order with our hoods for the F-150's there was much more demand/need for the new hood deflector so AVS invested in the R&D and hopefully its out now.

The Lightshield Pro looks interesting. I emailed them last week and didn't get any reply. I tried again.

I texted the dealership today and he was just like “oh yeah we didn’t think anything of it so it might not work”. Also, what about window visors? Are those different at all too? Or are people just not using them any more? Because I’m not seeing any on any pics on this forum. It’s just something I always added to my trucks haha.

I have window visors, some work some don't depending on what brand or type, I.e stick on or window jam mounted.

I'll be getting my truck back today. He told me the window visors are on so I'm not even sure which ones they went with but I'll let you all know. He did say that he felt like the hood deflector might not line up correctly/look good but that he'd be wiling to try. I told him not to even worry about it I didn't want them wasting their time (plus he said they'd still charge me the labor?? get the hell out of here).

Has anyone tried this? Anything I've tried that was for a standard f150 didn't work.

I ended up with the Husky, it just sticks to the hood but will do it's job I think.. Looks nice, these pics aren't great, i'll try to get some more in the sun. I have no fear of it coming off the 3m tape is really good!

Thank you for taking the time to reply and provide pics. Because it doesn't fit perfectly does it vibrate at all?
