Husky or Weather Tech mat/liners?

Tux mats looks neat but then I saw they're made in China. I'll stick with made in the USA weather tech or Huskys. I've had WT in many vehicles, so I guess I'll stick with my favorite brand.
I’m all about buying American Made and supporting our locals. But the last two sets of WT’s I have had were junk. I’d be embarrassed to put Made in the USA on them. I have not tried the newer version, Skipped WT completely this time around.

That's been my experience too. Just plastic trash.

I had two different sets of WT's on my 2017 Lobo. They absoloutly did not fit. Exchanged them for another set and the same thing. Ended up sending them back for a refund.
FWIW: The W.T. Rep. here did everything he could to make it right. It just was not meant to be.

Replaced them with Huskys. No problems since.

Those TUX mats do look pretty good though.;)

Link to the tremor badge for the husky?
Just checked and it looks like the shop I got these from is taking a break.

I just ordered the Husky mats and Husky wheel well liners. I had WeatherTec’s in my Tundra and they didn’t age great. Warped around the edges over time and they’re stiff so hard to get to lay down if the shape changes. In fairness they were 11 years old and did exactly what I needed so I wouldn’t complain. I just wanted to try the Husky X-act contour. I pick up my Tremor next Wednesday so we’ll see how well they fit next week!

I have the husky’s in my Tremor and my 13 f150. No problems whatsoever in either one.

That's the unintended consequence of the "buy american" campaigns. If they know you're gonna buy it anyway, what incentive do they have to compete with China? Why support mediocrity?

What are the thoughts on the Ford accessory mats?
Better than nothing, I think they are the low end weather techs unless they have changed, the ones in my 2017 lasted about 6 months then started rolling and not holding the shape on the edges, other than that they worked and saved me money as the dealer gave them to me free.

If I could have gotten a rear mat without buying the whole set, I'd have gotten one from Ford. Both Weathertech and Husky extend onto the sill and will curl after you keep catching your feet on them. The Ford sits inside the sill and won't develop the curling issue.

My thoughts exactly, I don't mind spending money on Made in USA because it used to mean it was quality.

Never had a curling problem with the Husky X-Act Countours

Same. I haven't experienced any curling issues with my Husky X-Acts.
That's good, I put one in the rear of mine. They seem to be more pliable rubber while Weathertech look like moulded plastic. The photo a few installments back pretty much sums up why I'd never buy those.

I believe Weathertech may make a more pliable mat now, but the version I had in previous vehicles was very rigid (like a hard plastic). I've had the Husky X-Act Contour mats in my Tremor for over a year and they've been great. Good quality and fit, with a nice rubberized feel.

I got my Weathertech floor liner HP. Completely different than the old style hard plastic with the bubble decals.
