Even without an issued VIN?

No, you need a VIN. Without a VIN how did they figure you were scheduled for 10/18? I got my VIN roughly 2 months after my order was placed.

Actually I assumed it was more dealership magic blowing smoke at time of ordering by giving you a projected build date. Confusion averted.

You can contact Ford Performance for an update. I was told week of Oct 11th and now have an exact date of Oct 15th.

Just contacted my Ford dealership today and got my VIN. Was my fault for not reaching out before. My build week is now showing week of 11/8. Also asked the manager who placed my truck order to do the Auto Start/Stop delete and he said he had already done it to help speed up delivery.

So I just returned from the dealership and ordered my new Tremor. Very excited as this is my first new vehicle. I went with a pretty much loaded 402A, moon roof, Torsen, B&O upgrade, almost checked every box really.

What is this auto start stop removal? I know what auto start stop is, but can you just ask them to permanently disable it? Or does this delete the button? I'm not a fan of it, but I usually just shut it off in the tune (I'm a calibrator). I know we cant tune these "yet".

You can also disable auto start / stop with Forscan — personally, I just hit the button to turn it off when I start the truck, pretty used to it. I think you can also save ~$50 and a processor for another truck as an option by deleting it when placing your order.

Lol. Generally speaking, as a tuner with my own tuning business, I just turn it off in the tune. Obviously we are still waiting for that to be available. For now I guess I'll just hit the button.

Good to know! I spoke to them on the phone the other day — 2 hour drive to Michigan from my place in Ohio. I plan on having them do the install of an intercooler and tune. I am not sure if they can install turbos… more to research.

I would love to beat the TRX 0-60 — jus’ sayin — if it’s possible with turbos.

Just spoke with dealer and he checked on status of the order. Ford changed my priority from a 10 to a 1 so we shall see when I get a VIN. Hoping within a week. In case anyone wondering 402a, moonroof, B&O Unleashed, Torsen, auto start/stop removal, spray-in bed liner. Priced at 1200 over invoice.

Went in to check on my status. 2 big things to note. 1. Dealer was def blowing smoke up my ___ when they told me Priority was a 1, I saw it now moved to a 19 . Not a big deal, but it is when it was a 1. 10-19 is no real difference. I literally saw it as a 10 when he placed it in. 2. Even he thought this was strange, where it said color, Velocity Blue, it now showed a strange code and it wasn’t the color code, so he says. Which somewhat made sense since the color is discontinued but still you would think it’d show in the order system as the correct color or the dealer be told to re-order.
Again, he said he hasn’t received any word from ford to push me to a 22, in which case I’m going to cancel since I don’t like the color choices. It sure would be nice to what’s going on with ‘my’ ordered truck.

I can’t remember where I read/watched it…. Anyway the Bronco 2021 orders are being produced into early November, then the line will be switched over to the 2022’s. Perhaps the 2021 F150 line is on a similar schedule?

I've done quite a few 2018-2020 trucks with them. Very nice upgrade if you have the other mods like intercooler and such.

Myself, I'm waiting for HP tuners or SCT to unlock the PCM so I can start my R&D and tuning. I already support all the 11-20 F150's, Mustangs, Explorers, and Expeditions and a few other odd balls. The 21+ PCM has new security which has been really hard for them to crack. Anyway, a convo for another thread.

My truck is still in limbo with my dealership who is trying to get me the color choices for the 22MY. Right now I chose black, but don't want them to submit the order until we officially know what is changing for the 22MY. All they can tell me is that the MSRP went up. Surprise, they know the cost, but not the colors.

2022 can be ordered, I had the dealer build it and check cost of a 22 Raptor in the event my Tremor gets pushed.

So is the Agate Black a metallic color? On the ford website when you build a 2021, it just says Agate Black. But that order form does say metallic. I wish these were on the lots so I could go see myself.

I put my order in this past Monday, I order it with the 402A, powermoon roof, 2k generator, bed utility with tail gate step, front 4.73 torsen axle, and inerior work station. MY dealer told me they expect to start building the F150's in December and the Tremor will follow sometime in January or February. I hope it comes before next summer.
