Hi all, is it still a best practice to delete the auto start / stop? I tried to when I ordered last week and the salesman kept telling me that wasn't possible.

I'm sure info is still limited but I feel like I'm setting myself up for failure here.

I had it removed on mine. Can’t tell you if it’s best practice or not but I ordered on 11/5 and have a 1/10 build week.

Thanks, that's what I meant for "best practice". I figure it's a crap shoot still but I'm only seeing orders posted with it removed. Glad you got yours quick!

Okay- so I ordered it last Friday (11/26)... got an email today with my VIN and build date of the week of December 13. Seems quick, since my dealer told me to expect it in April- but I'll take it!

No no no... Do you (or anyone else) have an idea of how long the build usually goes to when shipped- roughly? Trying to hit the 'sweet spot' to sell my current F150...

mine was on a rail car the day after it was built (which was a day earlier than expected). it took a bit over 2 weeks to get to Granger. Depending on your location, it may take less time.

Mine too was on a train the day after a build and up in Canada in a week. It made it to the dealer in 2 days after arrival.

Should be about 2 months from order to arrival at dealer based on what I'm seeing.
I ordered 10/26, blend date of 11/30, activate vehicle button showed up in app 12/3/2021 then 2-3 weeks to get to dealer.

Thanks- just plugged my VIN into the Ford page... says I ordered a 2022 Lightning- assuming the system/folks need some time to marinate on that. I don't want a Lightning! LOL.

It's been like that for a while. Sometimes it shows the status too, sometimes it doesn't....
