I had feb 2/2 delivery buyer on line for my ram wants it friday and now pushed til may 3…..not happen and no back up plan

So when does Ford stop accepting new retail orders for F150s like they did with the Maverick? I do not think they would for the F150. Very bad look. If everyone's dates have really moved months to the right, Ford will end up converting MY22 orders to MY23 if they keep taking new retail orders into the spring and early summer? I do not want my order if it sits outside in a lot for 6 months waiting on chips.

I have a dealer stock order truck coming. Its blend date is 01/27/2022 and expected delivery of 02/21/2022. It has every option including the spray in bed liner. Yesterday the dealership told me it was still shipping on time. Is there anyway I can see if they are telling the truth? I have also heard retail orders have priority. Is this true?

Called Ford today who confirmed my order was pushed out 3 more months and that it’s not a glitch in the tracker. Really not thrilled with my new truck sitting idle on a lot in the middle of a Michigan winter for 3 months. Gonna have to cancel my leveling, ppf and tint appointments. Also have a bunch of accessories that will be sitting around the house….

My dealer was much more pessimistic (or at this point it seems he was much more realistic) with build times. I ordered 12/23 and he said he thought best case scenario it would be a May build.

I ordered two days before you and I am hoping to maybe pick the truck up in June at this point.

I was told the tough spray in bed liner can cause a delay but nothing on all the other options selected. If I don't have a scheduled production date in 4 weeks I'll drop the spray in bed liner and go aftermarket.

This! My dealer warned me of that option. They said it can cause up to 2-3 extra months…..my local Line-X confirmed the epoxy or hardener they use has a huge supply chain problem. My Line X guy has a list of jobs he can’t get done due to this.
I changed my order to delete the spray in liner.

I had it on my order and at most it was a couple of extra weeks. YMMV. Taking longer to ship the truck two hours from KC to IA than to do the whole build including the liner.

To be honest I don't mind if it takes a bit longer, I have a vehicle I currently drive that is reliable and fun.

Sorry to hear all of this guys... I truly thought my build was a sign of good things to come.

Those of you who don't know- mine was ordered and delivered in 34 days... Don't hate me, but am assuming I caught it all at the right time, or someone cancelled the exact build I wanted (no, I did not put a hit out on the guy either). @Cranbery - I'd be heading to KC and grabbing it!

I'm trying to stay positive. As long as my 07 holds out, I'm looking at it as extra time to start gathering aftermarket goodies. I'll feel better when/if I get my VIN, even if the build date is 4 or 5 months away.

My office is overrun with parts. My girlfriend is about to murder me if this truck gets delayed any longer.

I am jealous of some of you. I'm 2 months out now and nothing more than the order acknowledgement for me. Dealer told me build was scheduled for 2nd week of March but nothing official from Ford on that yet.

Mine was a 402 with sunroof, and didnt know about the auto start stop delete but others posts don’t seem to have changed with or without that….all f150 seem to be effected no just tremors
