What's new

Larger Tire Sizes 18" rim that are not Load range E

That's my thought as well. I do have to say that being supercharged, having a bit more braking force will be nice. For the trails, I suggest not doing drilled rotors. Rocks can get in the holes and potentially crack the rotor. For my FJ Cruiser and when I upgrade the brakes I'll be going dimpled. Just a thought for the future.
Alcon has a kit too, and came across a place on ebay selling the rousch version of those for $1500 that seem to fit our trucks. Could also be a solid option, will have to look more but was seeing some reviews on raptor forums about them.
++ just saw Rotora makes both front and rear full kits, pricey but haven't seen other rear full kits said to work with e park brake

Both the Alcon and Rotora require 20" wheels. I'd prefer to have 17" wheels for better sidewall when off-road. I know Willwood say for the OEM replacement kit you can use 17" wheels, but for their big brake kit you'll need to go with a 20" wheel. I'm still very undecided on which route I'll go when I get to that point. If I do that Method bead grip wheels it'll be the willwood OEM replacement kit as I'll go with a 17" wheel.

Actually both of those kits say they fit 17" as well, rotors are slightly thicker than oem, Rotora is their latest kit I guess. Having the 17" bead grip myself, I'm watching and waiting, so I appreciate the replies and info.

I decided to go with as close to the stock overall tire diameter as possible yet have a more aggressive tread pattern and a wider cross section and tread. Because I already had a set of 17x8.5 factory take-off wheels from a 2019 Raptor, I went with General Grabber X3s in size 33x12.50R17. This combination did not require fender flares, any change to the stock suspension or a speedometer recalibration. My truck is a 402A with adaptive cruise and crash avoidance so I also did not have to worry about having to adjust the angle of the sensors for those systems which are located in the front bumper. Another feature of this particular tire is that it is a load range D (8 ply) which gives a little better ride than a load range E (10 ply) tire. I don't plan on taking the truck anywhere that might require the additional ground clearance provided by a larger diameter tire than stock so the the 33s are just fine for my needs. I have a lifted early Bronco if I want to do more serious off-road stuff. I also have an 18 ft enclosed trailer that I pull occasionally so I'm not real interested in fooling with the stock suspension anyway.
