Lower Ball Joint Diagnose and UCA Recommendations

Thanks for your detailed input to my topic. I have been curious on how to achieve a 2.5 lift in the front when both the Bilstein and Eibach options don't offer that ride height option. I talked to the guys at Shock Surplus and they recommended the Eibach's for my driving needs. Based on the info on Eibach's website, they state Tremors can only achieve a 2" lift to avoid maxing out the coilover. I might just have to live with the .5" rake. 🤦🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️. I've heard of people using FX4 rear blocks to lower the rear but that may drop me down too low. Thoughts?

The Toyo tires that came with the truck still have 14/32's of tread left out of 16/32's. I plan to go with the Falkens when it comes time to replace them.

Regards,
The truth is, 2" is prob the most I'd go with this truck, and you're right, there aren't many options for the Tremor (yet). I care deeply about suspension travel and reliability, so after seeing what 2" did to the CV angles I stopped it there. 1" in strut and 1" out of strut did wonders.

To properly level the Tremor you need something closer to 3". Rake isn't all bad btw - it serves a purpose. My bed is loaded up with 300lbs of gear pretty much always, and it sits mostly level. Over time it will break-in and look leveled.

Falkens are great tires, can't go wrong.

I reached out to Bilstein about the 8112s a few weeks ago - they assured me they'd fit the Tremor. I suspect they'll give approx 1'' less lift on the front than advertised for a regular F150. The rear pairings have a shorter extended length than the OEM Tremor shocks - might be worth taking some measurements or confirming again with Bilstein. That said, I bet this will be a fantastic set up.
That would be amazing. 1" spacer would do the trick, that's what I did with my 6112s. Don't loose any travel or comfort either.

I am the happy owner of a pre-owned 2021 Antimatter Blue F-150 Tremor 402A that's just needs some TLC and a few upgrades to make it perfect in my eyes.

The previous owner took pretty good care of it and was definitely a truck enthusiast. Nevertheless I've found a few items that need to be address
  • I noticed my passenger side lower ball joint boot appears to be blown but haven't noticed and mechanical issue!!! (I plan have both replaced but wanted input from the community)
  • I'm planning to upgrade the stock Tremor shocks and UCAs but I'm stuck between choices:
    • Eibach Pro Truck Stage 2R (2+lift)
    • Bilstein 6112/5160 (1.5)
    • HaloLifts Stage 1- w/SPC UCAs
    • Bilstein 8112/8100 (🦄🤑🫣)
    • UCA Recommendations Please
My current setup purchased with the truck:
  • ProRyde 2.5 Lift Spacers
  • Rough Country Air Bags
  • Toyo Open Country ATIII 295/70R-18
I'm open to any feedback and recommendations. I also added photos of the blown ball Joint (passenger) and driver side for comparison along with profile shots.
What's the miles on that truck ?
