I always hear the argument from the Toyota/Honda fanboys that their vehicles are “more” American made than Ford or GM. I have even seen the argument that all automakers are actually “intentional” and American made doesn’t matter anymore.
Most media sources always report “assembly” by vehicle which to me is not the right perspective. (Not surprising considering media/journalist are some of the most dishonest people on earth these days.) I never see an article showing how many jobs are sustained in the US for these automakers. To me that is the telling statistic of who is more domestic. Assembly is only a small chunk of the picture. What about suppliers and other employees who have jobs tied to these automakers?
Just curious I looked this up and this is what I found.
I’d like to hear your thoughts
