Motor noise?

I have 5k on my 3.5 and noticed a engine noise which sounds a lot like a diesel when accelerating with the windows down. It is more pronounced cold than driving after the engine has warmed up. I called the dealer and they told me it was normal for this engine. can anyone give me some insight that has a tremor with a 3.5.

Could be wrong here, but I'd attribute that to the twin turbo kicking in. But hard to diagnose without hearing it. Is it a new sound?

What grade of fuel are you using?

Could be wrong here, but I'd attribute that to the twin turbo kicking in. But hard to diagnose without hearing it. Is it a new sound?

never really noticed it before because always have radio on.

What grade of fuel are you using?

I use tier 1 regular and that is what is recommended per owners manual.
