I too find it hilarious it's made by livernois... kind of confirms that they have worked somewhat close with Ford for years. Makes me feel better about my livernois tune, and explains why it's spot on for this truck.

The distinction is it doesn't void the warranty as a whole, but it does allow for Ford's denial of claims attributed to the tune. This is consistent with how the terms are written.

The Ford Performance warranty picks up these denied claims for the specified 3/36.

There is a distinction between Ford (OEM) and Ford Performance (aftermarket) for warranty purposes here.

I still don't think the tune itself will cause issues, my concern is other powertrain failures for which the tune is an easy alibi.

Confused on one thing- were you all talking about getting the tune from livernois directly or getting it from a dealer?
I was originally thinking about their combo kit of tuner, intercooler, and undecided about exhaust. After test driving i dont know if it needs a tune. My truck has 68k miles so no warranty. I think that having the option to switch between a 91, 93, and tow tune would be nice thus the reason to spend more on the actual tuner vs a 1 time tune as 93 isnt available everywhere.
