NEW Fox 3.0 internal bypass system

Great info.

Someone would prob be happy to trade u bolts and spacer with you on the f150 forum.

If you go with a shorter block you would need shorter bump stops. Prob a good idea to trade those with the person you’re trading blocks with

Rubbing tire in the wheel well shouldn’t be an issue as the tremor tires are not taller than a regular f150 tire

OP, being a few months in, how you liking the fox 3?
My question since I'm metro area and no off-roading available, how are these on crappy city roads? I'm looking for a firm ride but soak up bumps like an old Lincoln , lol

The 3.0's are really nice, I highly reccomend them.... they handle pretty much anything I asked for so far. I also like towing with them, honestly that was a big factor to minimize the soft rear end..... But the 3.0's are stupid expensive, really overkill unless used for serious off road conditions. Perhaps 2.0 system would be a better fit for you if you dont do heavy off roading or jump the truck? Or you can overbuild the truck for the future?

I have been talking to Fox off and on for the past few months. Their customer service and product development is really good. I was impressed with the quality of Tech Service. They asked me to come to their shop in San Diego to look at the 3.0's rears on my Tremor. The bypass reservoirs were a bit too close to the rear tires (for my comfort) so they turned them slightly out of the way, I could have done that but I was missing the special fox wrench. Anyhow juts wanted to tell other people out there that yes the Fox's are F'n expensive but damn this is good quality shocks and technology. The 3.0's adjustability is really good. I am currently riding the 3.0's in the soft I call it "Squishy" setting and the truck feels close to stock but stil planted to the road. If i turn the dials averything firms up, truck turns great and the towing experience has improved as well. The soft bouncy up and down oscilations (while towing 6,000 lbs trailer) I had before with the stock rear shocks is gone. Quality product but damn is it expensive.

The other reason I am posting this is because I want to ask you guys that have replaced or experimented with reducing 1" in height (-1") rear blocks on your Tremor. The Fox engineer recomended that I should replace the 2" rear block to 1" rear block for optimum off road performace. Doing so would also lower the rear a bit... level it a bit more..... and make the front end come up a bit more. I could adjust the fronts more but Fox does not recomend any more than +1.5" over stock 1" high Tremor for a total of 2.5" over standard F150 without compromising the front drive axles and geometry.

I purchased this set from Eiback.

My question: has anyone replaced their 2" blocks with 1" blocks? How to they like off roading with that setup and did you also have to add the 1" bump stop spacers shown in this kit? Are the spacers needed? I believe that at maximum articulation the tire might come up to high up into the wheel well without the spacer. I know that adding the spacer limits articulation. Anyone have any thoughts or real life experience with articulation on this mod?

I have attached a photo of my front end, the angles are really good but in my opinion its because of the Camburg UCA's. Clearance of UCA to tire is excelent.
You wouldn’t happen to know what front spring rate the fox 3.0’s use? Thanks

It’s 450lb, definitely a lot lighter than I would have thought.
450 is same as stock. Same as Eibach Protruck 2R. Just for everyone's reference.

Go drive a stock f150 4x4 and you'll feel what SOFT is.... And not in a plush comfortable way ... Like a 1973 Buick on a pogo stick.
