Hey everyone, finally pulled the trigger this past Thursday and picked up a 2025 F-150 Tremor, 402A, EcoBoost V6 with only 6k miles and 1 owner. Been lurking here for a bit during the buying process (seriously, this forum saved me from a couple of bad decisions), figured it's time to make it official.
Little background: went back and forth for months between this, a Tundra Platinum TRD Off-Road, and a Ram Rebel before landing on the Tremor. Test drove all three with my wife, and honestly the visibility, the power/response from the twin turbo V6, and just the overall "this is a truck" feel sealed it for us.
Also want to give a shout out to @FRESHPRINCE556 for the help along the way, definitely made a difference in the decision-making process.
Main use case: family hauling, camping and off-roading (we're relocating to Colorado in about a year and a half, so this thing's going to see real mountain duty), plus I'm a DJ on the side, so it's also my equipment hauler for gigs, speakers, lighting rig, truss stands, the whole setup.
Already purchased for install:
- Tremor side vent LEDs
- 3-light Raptor style LEDs
- WeatherTech side window deflectors
On the upgrade list:
- STEK PPF (full body, leaning toward a Black Label-certified installer)
- Front LED light bar
- Rear LED light bar
- Bed camper top / topper setup for camping
- BAKFlip MX4 EZ-Lift Tonneau Cover
Open to any recommendations, warnings, or "wish I'd known that before I bought it" wisdom from anyone who's done similar builds, especially anyone who's outfitted a Tremor for camping/overlanding use, or dealt with hauling awkward gear (trusses, speaker cabinets, that kind of thing) in the bed.
