Can confirm the Bilstein 8112/8100 are incredible so far. A little stiff on potholes and speed bumps at speed but it’s a trade off for the smooth and bottomless feel offroad.
Dont the 8100s have a shorter length than the factory shocks, limiting rear travel by several inches? Odd that Bilstein doesn't have the adjustable ones available for our trucks. Maybe that will change. I'm on 6112/5160s and they have been great. Hopefully when it's time to upgrade there will be some more options. Can confirm the Bilstein 8112/8100 are incredible so far. I agree with you when comparing these two to RC.I was looking at those. I might just wait and go with the icon setup since it comes with UCA’s for $3500. I’m sure it’s far superior than say the RC mono tube setup for around $600. I guess it comes down to what you’re willing to spend. I’m sure the Bilstein’s are phenomenal.
I agree.Yes but because we are a red headed step child for the aftermarket I just decided to say screw it and do it. They’ve made several light jumps so far with full extension. Ironically Bilstein makes a set for the Jeep Gladiator that appear to be the needed measurements but I don’t know if they’d bolt up or be effective tune wise
