Oil blow-by

[Quake jockey]

While searching for a rattle, i discovered some oil residue on the DS valve cover near the front of engine. Residue Looks like what you might find inside/around pcv system/ hose. Going to shop next Wednesday for warranty repair but was curious if anyone has experienced this.
