Sure did, and then coiled all the extra tucked up behind the footwell fuse box. The new bronco comes pre wired for these things which would have been nice.Did you just run the cable around the windshield and down?
Just out of curiosity, why wire your radar detector to a switch if you had to route it to a fuse box anyways? Wouldn’t you want it to always come in with the key on? Not saying it’s wrong to do it how you did it, just trying to get an idea of how wiring stuff to the aux switches works. Finally utilized Aux1, hooked up my radar detector![]()
The switch wires go behind the fuse box from under the hood. The aux switch can always stay on because it's powered only when the key is on. If my kids napping in the back or I'm just doing errands I can shut it off easily. Plus it's fun to have it on the switch.Just out of curiosity, why wire your radar detector to a switch if you had to route it to a fuse box anyways?
