I now include the caps for unused connections as well as switched to a crimp on connector instead of the solder shrinks based on feedback from other users. i also include precut adhesive lined heatshrink to cover the crimp connections with.

The rats-nest of a cluster f*ck I have going on with my upfitters needs to end.

I’ll be honest and say that I don’t make them anymore myself. I just don’t have the time to sit and assemble harnesses with a full time day job that’s getting busier, and 3 young kiddos.

I’ve found someone to make them for me. They are made in the US. The supplier is somewhat local to me and I’ve been able to visit them. They also help me keep costs down since they are using materials they use for other items they make, so their bulk pricing benefits me, and that’s passed along.

This is also partially why the design has changed a bit. Moved to Metripack connectors instead of deutsch due to current capability. The original deutsch connectors limited the 15 amp upfitters to 13amps. The new connectors are good to 25 amps, which also enables the harnesses to be applicable to the ranger tremor which for some reason has a couple of 25 amps upfitters. This is mind boggling that a ranger gets higher amp upfitters than an f150.

Watched a YouTube video showing a review and installation of your wiring harness...great idea and the quality looks very nice! Something Ford should include with their trucks that have upfitter switches installed. My praise for your product comes from a background as a retired Military Telecomm Engineer installing and maintaining critical communications equipment around the world. Thanks!
