Pulled the trigger on a ADD front bumper

Same, like I have front parking sensors. So I'm now wondering if the only option is a custom fabbed bumper...based on the information in here anyway.
I spoke to ADD, their Honey Badger is fully compatible.
See pic showing parking sensors.

Yeah, true. I remember looking at it and seeing the sensors. Unfortunately idw a honey badger though, just not my cup of tea. I want more of a pre-runner style that I plan to fab a winch into.

The 21 ones with the self parking has the sensors, they came standard on the 22's . ADD, DV8 and Fab fours all have bumpers that work for our truck and have the sensor relocation kits.

Right, I know some do exist. I guess my point/question was that the ones like the bolt on here won't work?

Pretty much any bumper for an F150 will work, you can buy a sensor relocation kit, and then drill and add them in. It all depends on how much work you want to do, certain ones come with them pre drilled, some don't. The only other thing is if you want to keep front factory skid, some will others won't.

Wait....I have 6 sensors in the front of mine and I have a 21 model. Am I missing something?
The bumper I installed has 4 sensor hole’s available, I just put small amber lights in the holes provided.

Has anyone with 6 sensors installed a bumper like this? Is it as simple as attaching a small sensor bracket? Not sure if I am over thinking this, but all these electronics on newer cars just dont like to be messed with.

I guess there’s a small benefit to hitting a deer at 82 miles an hour, you get to pick out a new bumper. Luckily for me it was a fawn and i caught it on the driver side so the damage wasn’t that bad. I searched high and low for a new bumper, and nothing really got me too excited except for the new bumper from Addictive Desert designs. They just released the Pro Bolt on bumper not long ago and it was just the type I was looking for. It took me a month or so to gather up the lights in the wiring harnesses that I wanted. I had my son-in-law wired up and couldn’t be happier. The only challenge was securing all the wiring harnesses and installing it myself. I wasn’t sure I could do it alone, but it turned out fine. With this bumper you can either do a curved 20 inch light bar or pod lights. I chose the Baja Design pod lights cause you have more choices for the zones that work best for you. Since the Tremor doesn’t have parking sensors, I found some Amber pod lights and stuck those in the hole and wired them up. Super happy I was able to retain the OEM tow hooks, most of the other aftermarket bumper delete them View attachment 18224View attachment 18225View attachment 18226View attachment 18227View attachment 18228
Looks amazing, have you noticed a change in MPG? ..thanks

Maybe a little. I’m always standing on it so it’s hard to tell if it’s the bumper or my lead foot. Kind of why I chose that color “Lead foot” gray.

I put an ADD Stealth Fighter bumper (no winch version) on my '23 F150 Tremor. The adaptive cruise control (ACC) sensor was relocated to the grill on the top right as you face the grill per ADD's recommendation (they indicated that unlike other sensors, this ACC sensor would be not work surrounded in metal even though this sensor circles are in the pumper). Ford now cannot get this new ACC sensor to calibrate. Ford's calibration tools don't even take, they say. They are talking about needing 3rd party software programming tools (Forescan?), which they don't own and can't technically use for liability reasons, but starting to feel like good money after bad. Running out of options. Any ideas out there?

Also, FYI, the ADD Stealth Fighter bumper did NOT fit my Tremor. My Tremor has a "deflector" (bump) welded onto the front of the cross member of the frame. It's evidently there as a safety feature to push the radiator down in the event of a head-on collision. The Stealth Fighter skid plate had to be cut to wrap around this "bump" and so is bolted on with only 2 bots instead of 4.

Blakeo,
Sounds like your ford dealer is either clueless or just lazy. I look mine in for the same thing and they fixed very quickly. I had my ACC unit pointed too far down so they corrected the angle and calibrated it. I use the cruise all the time so for me it’s a must have.

Mr Hobby, thanks for the reply as it is encouraging. The 4x4 shop that mounted the bumper and relocated the sensor decided to use the Ford bracket that came with the ACC sensor (my son rear ended a trailer and destroyed the orig bumper and sensor) to save me the cost of the ADD bracket. You mentioned that the direction of your relocated sensor had to be adjusted. I wonder if there’s something special about the ADD bracket, or something restrictive about the stock Ford bracket, that makes the relocation work/not work?? To your point, I did not expected the dealer side of this to be such a project. Appreciate your thoughts.
