Here is my logic, now that the Raptor R is top dog, they "exclusivity" of the HO motor is a moot point. They already put the HO in the new Expedition Timberline, I expect to see it in the 2024 Tremor now too. Thoughts?
The only reason I got the tremor over the fx4 lariat is because of the torsen, better articulation and nice wheel combination. I also like the camo interior design. But I am surprised, and didn’t figure that the aftermarket for our trucks would be this non existent. I’m learning towards a $5k king and camburg setup which is identical to what the standard f150 would get. Unless Fox finally comes out with a specific tremor setup. But I wouldn’t change a thing. The min $30k markups they were asking for the Raptors made this decision really easy.Make the Torsen diff an option for any f150, axe the tremor. Since the tremor is nowhere in the league of the raptor, nor has the aftermarket of a regular f150, they suckered us tonka truck lovers into buying something that only looks a little different and performs marginally better.
There wasn't much aftermarket when the Bronco was introduced, not even Ford accessories were available. Torsen is available on any of the Tremor trim levels, it's a $500 add on, the transfer for the 402 is the raptor transfer though.Torsen is only available on the 402s...
