Raptor grill for 22 Tremor

I agree. Your truck, your build. Do whatever you please. Only thing that matters is that you approve, and you are happy. That being said I want to apologize if I offended anybody for adding the Raptor engine cover. I was in too deep. I screwed up and ordered the 2020 EcoBoost Raptor cover but it didn't fit. I was really set on the having the nicer cover with the Ford Performance on the side. When I look at it I pretend not to see the Raptor wording there . I may cover with black duct tape or something. I do love the Tremor and do prefer it over the Raptor. When the Raptor R comes things may change. No promises

Hopefully in the financial bracket to get a raptor R in a few years... Can't imagine they'll be less than 130-150k when they come out given the MSRP will be over 100k plus the ADMs that have been going around.

Didn’t say I would be able to afford . Who am I fooling. We’ll be lucky if it’s only 150k . I can’t push my luck. Still trying to explain to my wife why Tremor was 60k. That Raptor R rumor is what really deterred me from the current Raptor.
Even if I was able to get a Raptor at MSRP, how would I feel when that Raptor R comes out shorty. Yes there will be a huge price difference but just didn’t make sense for me. I have a dream that one day Ford wakes up and we are all able to get what we want without delayed wait times and at MSRP. No hassle. Build it online, submit to a dealership or Ford directly. Wait about 3 months and pick up your vehicle. Test drive optional. Whatever the MSRP is what you pay minus taxes etc. Isn’t that Tesla’s sales model?

Hey, I’m just typing what everyone is thinking when they see those, even if they like it. I am sure Raptor owners will be putting gold stripes on their grill and painting their tow hooks. Who would have ever guessed that Ford would make DOT required clearance lights popular by moving them off the cab and Into the grill and making a huge Ford emblem. More Toyotas have Waptor lights than not now. I will say the Tremor and BAP hood reminded me of the Gen1 Raptor.

That's what comes to my mind. Same when I see the Tremor side graphic replaced with the Raptor style script. To me it says, "guy really wanted a Raptor but can't afford it".

I think that’s a bit of a reach, it’s just a different font. The tremor graphic overall is just boring.

It's the same font Raptor uses though, so it's hard for me to not make the connection. I'm normally not a fan of any markings on the bed, but think the blocky script on the Tremor looks stylish while being conservative. I had a 2014 Tremor and that had a similar style in red. When I had a Raptor, I didn't order any graphics because it just looked too overpowering to me.
That's just my opinion though. Anyone that likes the Raptor font should do it.

One upside of thr raptor grill though is that you can actually mount lights behind it whereas the tremor grill doesn't really allow for that. Or at least baja designs doesn't make a kit yet

IMO I think it would look better if the FORD was painted either white or that orange row hook color (whatever it is) I would be curious to see someone do the orange with photoshop? I’m a fan of that grill but also I agree it kinda takes away from the “Tremor” theme. I mean if you removed the bedside decals, it would be hard to notice it’s a Tremor. But maybe the Orange would look good or maybe it would be too much.

That looks good. I’m curious how that would look with the matching tow hooks on the tremor. If it would be too much orange or not.

My personal opinion is that only vehicles with a width over 80"+ should have clearance lights. Yes, I will laugh at you like all of the Tacoma's. Also, Raptor owners or any other vehicle looks stupid running clearance lights as DRLs. Off my soapbox now...haha.

My opinion is if your gonna do it, do it all the way. add the clearance lights. I personally wouldn't do either. I'm buying a Tremor to look like one, not a different model.

Agreed! If you are going to add the center lights, at least add the corner lights. And don't forget the rear either.

Also don't forget the wide body kit, mid travel suspension and bed cage. Then it would look good.

STOP IT. Just get the CB Designs ”Tremor“ lights. They are awesome and not a wannabe Raptor. Speaking of Raptors a guy in our area painted his Raptor tow hooks red so people will think he has an R, so sad.
