Raptor Steering Wheel/Paddle Retrofit

I’m probably way behind y’all in this conversation, I’ve been away for a while. Here’s what I found.

This looks like the two things you will need. No, I haven’t done it yet.

FORD PERFORMANCE—F-150 RAPTOR HEATED STEERING WHEEL UPGRADE

This is not the steering wheel. This has two complementary components that are needed to go with the steering wheel which I’ve listed down below.

Description of this item from their site:
  • F-150 Raptor heated steering wheel upgrade to enable your factory heated wheel functionality
  • This kit was developed for all 2023 F-150 Raptor customers whose vehicles were affected by the chip shortage resulting in heated steering wheel delete
  • Kit includes all OEM components:
    • HVAC switch
    • Steering column control module
    • New steering wheel bolt

Now, combine that part with the following part. From the description it sounds like these are the two things we need:
FORD PERFORMANCE—2021-2024 F-150 RAPTOR STEERING WHEEL KIT - BLACK
From their site:
ā€œThe Raptor steering wheel has a more defined feel and aggressive look compared to the standard F-150 steering wheel.
  • Fits 2021-2024 F-150
  • Raptor Black leather construction with black stitching and a red leather sightline
  • Steering wheel comes equipped with wire harness, trim bezel and Raptor steering wheel controls
  • Installation into a non-Raptor F-150 and Raptors equipped with the Technology Package requires the steering wheel controls to be swapped from the original steering wheel
  • Kit includes a 2021-2024 Raptor sightline heated steering wheel and all needed installation hardware

NOTE: Heated steering wheel will not function when installed onto vehicles that are not equipped with the heated steering wheel option.

NOTE: Paddle shifters will not function when installed onto F-150's that were not originally equipped with paddle shifters from the factory.ā€

EDIT:
Sorry, I’m on my phone and mistakenly thought that this is a discussion about heated steering wheels. I see it’s actually about paddle shifters now that I’ve posted. When I get back to my PC, I’ll look for the discussion on heated steering wheels.
