ReadyLift 3" Review- Removed; replaced w/ Bilstein 6112/5100

This is a side view of my truck with ReadyLift 2" Level.
I gained exactly 2" and am approximately 1 1/4" higher in the rear with the level.
The level has been on just over a year and 20,000 miles. It may have settled 1/4" in that time.
Still have the factory struts, but will eventually change to Bilsteins. Have 5100's on the rear.
Just for reference.

Well shit, this isn’t what I wanted to read after having ready lift kit installed yesterday 😂
How did your install go? How’s ride? I was debating the 3” ready lift also.

3” was definitely too high regardless of what their website says (I have a ‘24). The 2.5 is better but not great as far as feeling like something isn’t quite right.

I am not a guy to do any mods to my truck so I had to pay someone a second time to take out the 3” and put in the 2.5”

Hindsight I probably would have gone with a better option

So in my case, I added that very heavy winch bumper. The weight of it and the winch is 300# and when you factor in the fulcrum or distance past the center of the front wheels the weight is almost double that. I put on a 2.5 kit and then with the bumper it pulled my front end down a solid 1/2" or closer to 5/8". For that reason only I was thinking of the readylift 3" because of the preload puck aspect. I would probably be okay with a bit stiffer front setup. But who knows. I have a lead on a new 3" ready lift kit for $400 and thought about trying it. I can do it all myself, I'm spoiled and I have a lift in my garage.

I'm just having a hard time with the cost of these coil over kits and most of them don't even include the upper control arms.
