Has anyone ever had a rear clunking noise at low speeds coming from the suspension? I had this noise for a few weeks and couldn’t figure out for the life of me where it was coming from and it was driving me crazy. Eventually, I ended up changing the insulator pads that sits between the leaf springs. As I took the old ones out they really didn’t look that bad so I went ahead and put the new ones on anyway and that fixed the problem, no more clunking in the rear! So if any of ya’ll start to hear this noise coming from the rear of your truck, try replacing these pads. I paid around $100 for these directly from ford which was better than my truck sitting at the dealership for weeks just for them to tell me “we can’t find the problem”.

I’ve started hearing what sounds like a “shifting” of the rear suspension on my ‘23 at about 40k miles. Sounds like the suspension loading after more abrupt stops. Checked all the drive line and all appears normal. Will definitely check this out.

FYI there’s a new TSB to address this issue as well.
