Rear lights mounting location debate

Dang. 2880 lumens, that oughta do it. Thanks for info. I like the low profile, but dig the Diode Dynamics too. Were you the one who wired to aux, and if so, was it any more difficult than I'd imagine?
Ya I wired to aux switch I’m super I wanted to hide the wires the best I could and it was harder than I thought it would be my last truck was way easier but still glad I did it.

Wanted to pass on that I got my lights and harness from specialtyperformanceparts.com and those folks really stepped up.
They responded on a weekend guiding me to fix my error, and now it's all working great.

I've got them connected to uplifter 5 and they also come on when i go into reverse.

I see how you got the lights to come on with the back up lights via the harness, how did you wire them to your upfiter as well so you can manually turn them on? Wont it backfeed into the system?

There should be two pieces, the wire “technically” come from the same point. One is plugged into the taillight harness and then is grounded to the rear, then you run the second to the front of the truck to the upfitters. My understanding is that the it does both with out backfeed.
