Replacing 2024 Ford Tremor 402A Headlights

Just a note- in my opinion- the reflector LED's are an excellent light- my previous truck (24 King ranch) has the dynamic bending lights, and while the moving aspect was awesome, the reflector led's really aren't much of a downgrade except in looks.

Respectfully disagree. Maybe from “Dynamic Bending”, but not from 21-23 Adaptive “glare free”, which are in a whole different class. I also think it’s a shame that Ford decided to give the cheaper reflectors, to the 402A package, instead of the lariat+ projectors with their signature LED lighting. IMO it cheapens the look by resembling the XL/XLT rather than matching the higher trims. It certainly is significant enough for me to consider going to a BAP Lariat on next trade up.

I agree on looks- however other than the bending aspect I didn't notice a ton of difference. The glare free was awesome however that hasn't been avaible since late 22 I don't think. I had it in a 22 limited and it was great.

I enabled it on my 23 402A.

I’m not looking to buy any time soon but if I were I think I’d be forced to go raptor.

Exactly as Ford planned it.

Sigh I know

Bad news for ford is that I don’t feel like dripping another $40k after trade in for a truck if it costs $90k lol

And it could get worse: Hopefully this tariff BS is resolved soon as any truck/Expedition/Navigator is going to be ridiculous $$ with 25% bump on Canadian aluminum!

My 2024 Tremor has the 402A package and comes with the LED lights. I feel the led headlights and gig lights are plenty bright and I have no issues with them. I do feel they are aesthetically boring beside the amber led splitting them. I do wish they had done more on an 80k truck. I mean at least make the tremor orange trim on the grill an LED to make the grill unique and stand out, something 🤷‍♂️

I jist ordered a 2025 Amanda will be looking to do this. My 2015 lariat i did the raptor swap on. Gotta love a ford, I am parting out the old truck before trade in to keep a lot of my add ons.

What’s a 2025 “Amanda”? 🤔

It's a newer version of the slightly abused, but heavily used, 2024 version of Samantha. Subtle changes include, customized, hair and eye color, programmable attitude, and an ability to cook and clean without complaint.

I totally agree with you. It's a deal breaker for me. Those LED projectors on the Lariat and above should have been on the Tremor. It's those headlights which really set off the front of the truck. I really like the Tremor, but those Reflector LED's are a huge downgrade. It's a damn shame Ford has put XL headlights on a expensive truck like the Tremor. As much as this thing costs it should come with the Projectors. It makes it look just like a lifted XLT. Very sad Ford did this for the 2024/2025's. Pay more get less!!!

Hopefully an aftermarket company will come up with a headlight system and grill that will be a better upgrade for this front end

I have a similar project going. I got my hands on a set of 23 raptor headlights and I've run into a slew of issues. Even though both sets of headlights i have are the Dynamic bending ones, my issue was the turn signal. Raptors used the DRL as a turn signal, whereas the non-raptor lights had a separate turn signal bar. I've got the issues figured out i just need to do it.

Hopefully you don't have the same issues i had, but i'm willing to bet the plugs will be different. Not sure if there is a harness to adapt into your new headlights yet, but at the very least you should anticipate disabling the LED outage indicator in Forscan. Because i believe you have the opposite issue than I had. Youre now going from DRL as turn to a dedicated turn signal light correct?

What did you bump into? I just bought a set of 2022 tremor lights for my tremor coming in mid-may. I was not sure if would need to have an adapter to cornet to the led lights. My 2015 i have a morimoto adapter for my raptor led's.

DRL as turn on raptor lights turned out to be more indepth than simple FORscan changes
