Shift to Park or Auto-Shift to Park

You do you, but IMO it is better to shift to P manually and then shut off the vehicle. I have zero data to back this up.

Mine will only "auto park brake" (auto set the e brake when I put it in park) when I activate the hitch camera, otherwise, I always have to manually set the brake.

This is what my current F-150 does. I knew there was some common factor that caused it to happen once in a while but kept failing to take note of the cause. I guess I only even notice that the brake was applied for me some of the time. Just too focused on getting the trailer hitched.
