Show your tint!

Here in GA, I’ve never been stopped for my tint and even when I was stopped for something else, they didn’t say anything about my tint and this is going back to the early 90’s.
I don’t know exactly but I’m sure it’s just a misdemeanor and one will be issued a fix it ticket.
Plenty of F150’s driving around here in GA with 20% and lower on the front windows and 70-50% and in some cases lower on the entire front windshield so I don’t think the cops really care.

The cops know that in GA, trucks can go as dark as the owner wants on the rear doors and rear window and that in itself makes everything look darker than it really is.
Pretty much same here...long as you dont give em a reason or catch one on a bad day they leave ya be. I was just a bit surprised when I'm like reciprocity - check, radar - check, tint - misde-what :ROFLMAO:

10% sides and back, 35% on the windshield, 5% windshield strip. I have zero issues at night…is it dark, yes, but I don’t find it too dark. The heat rejection is great, and little to no reflection off the dash either. To be honest, it’s great at night with the rain, it cuts out the halos and glare from other street lights and headlights.

35% on my fronts. Didn’t want to attract to much negative attention. 🚓👮👮‍♂️

It definitely would look much better if the fronts were darker.
What’s the legal / minimum percentage in your part of Canada and does that apply to the entire country?

The windshield makes a huge difference, definitely worth the money!
Biggest area directly facing the sun. Even if you add 70% ceramic (nearly clear) the IR and total heat rejection will be substantial. Worth it.

You’ll be fine with either 50 or 70 on the entire windshield at night but most people lean towards 70.

When it comes to having the entire windshield done, it’s more about heat rejection.
70 is basically clear. 50 is a very mild darkening. The high end shop I went to in Vegas said they won't do windshields below 35 because it's unsafe/a liability.

I'm at 50 on the windshield and very pleased with the balance.

If I had a do over I’d do 50% shield, 10% on 4 sides, and 20% on back glass.

Currently rocking 70% shield, 5% 4 sides, 20% back glass.
